HÜDA PAR Leader joins Adana march to denounce Gaza genocide

HÜDA PAR Chairman Zekeriya Yapıcıoğlu participated in a massive demonstration organized by the Prophet's Lovers Foundation in Adana.
The rally, called in response to a broader appeal by the Palestinian resistance movement HAMAS, aimed to denounce the Israeli occupation's continued atrocities in Gaza and to rally support for immediate and tangible action.
The demonstration began with a large gathering at Beşocak Square following the afternoon prayer. From there, thousands of demonstrators marched through the streets of Adana, chanting pro-Palestinian slogans and waving Palestinian flags as they proceeded to İnönü Park. The crowd, composed of people from all walks of life, reflected growing frustration and anguish over the protracted siege of Gaza, now in its 19th month.
At the park, the program commenced with a recitation from the Holy Qur’an, setting a solemn and reflective tone for the speeches that followed. Yapıcıoğlu addressed the demonstrators with a speech marked by fervent emotion and clear political messaging.
"Enough Words, It Is Time for Action"
"Greetings to the lovers of Jerusalem, to those who reject genocide, who answer the call of Gaza’s resistance, and who stand firmly for humanity and justice," said Yapıcıoğlu, applauding the resilience of the Palestinian people. "For 19 months, death has rained on Gaza. Over ten thousand martyrs have fallen. Since March, even the most basic humanitarian needs are denied entry. The knife has reached the bone. It is no longer time for words; it is time for action."
Yapıcıoğlu criticized the inertia of the Islamic world and warned of regional repercussions should the aggression remain unchecked. "When this war began, many Turkish officials declared that the ultimate target was Turkey. If they intend to draw us into this war, they will find a way. The real question is: will we remain idle like sheep awaiting slaughter, or will we rise against this atrocity?"
"Zionism: A Threat to All Humanity"
In his impassioned speech, Yapıcıoğlu emphasized that Zionism is not only a threat to Palestinians but to all humanity. He traced the roots of the current conflict back to the colonial designs of 1917, accusing global powers of enabling a century of bloodshed.
"This war did not begin on October 7, 2023. It began with the Balfour Declaration and the British occupation of the region. They have been spilling blood at every opportunity since then. The Zionist entity understands only the language of force. Islamic nations must prepare. Let the masses rise in every city upon the call of HAMAS. Let our leaders awaken before war reaches our own gates."
"Let Us Be the Hand That Stops the Oppressor"
Yapıcıoğlu concluded his speech with a heartfelt plea: "O Lord, let us be the hand that cuts the hands of those oppressors who harm the innocent. If we cannot stop this genocide today, it will reach our doors tomorrow. The children of Gaza say they would rather die and be fed in heaven than suffer more hunger on earth. Are we so numb that this does not move us? I thought Muslims were brothers. If those children were our own, would we still remain silent? May Allah grant us all the strength to witness the fall of this oppression."
Prophet’s Lovers Foundation Issues Urgent Call to Action
Following Yapıcıoğlu's address, Orhan Erkuş, the Adana Coordinator of the Prophet’s Lovers Foundation, delivered an official statement denouncing the genocidal acts committed by the Israeli occupation.
"What is happening in Gaza is without precedent in human history. The homes of the people have been leveled, yet their will remains unshaken. They have been forcibly displaced, yet their faith stands firm. They are the pride of humanity in an age of moral collapse. They are awakening a sleeping ummah."
Erkuş noted that nearly 90 percent of Gaza has been destroyed under a ceaseless bombardment campaign. "Tens of thousands of civilians have been martyred. Hospitals, schools, and public infrastructure have been reduced to rubble. The use of highly destructive munitions surpasses even the horror of Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Gaza has become the testing ground for the most barbaric weapons of our age."
"The Mask of Modern Civilization Has Fallen"
"What we are witnessing has torn the mask off modernity," said Erkuş. "The West, with its lofty claims of civilization and progress, has revealed its true face: a civilization that enables the systematic extermination of children and civilians in the name of geopolitics."
Concrete Demands and Religious Obligations
In his statement, Erkuş outlined a series of urgent demands:
-Islamic countries must take immediate and unified action against the Israeli occupation, both politically and militarily.
-HAMAS, the democratically elected leadership in Gaza, must be recognized as the sole legitimate representative of the Palestinian people.
-Any peace or ceasefire deal must be approved by HAMAS to be considered valid.
-The international community must enact severe pressure on the Zionist regime through sanctions and diplomatic isolation.
-A full boycott of Israeli goods and companies complicit in the occupation must be implemented.
-Oil shipments and trade routes that indirectly support the occupation must be halted.
-Türkiye must pass legislation to strip dual citizenship from Israelis involved in war crimes.
-Arrest warrants by the International Criminal Court against Israeli leaders, especially Prime Minister Netanyahu, must be enforced.
-Military and logistical support should be provided to resistance groups defending their homelands in Gaza, Lebanon, Syria, and Yemen.
The Struggle for Jerusalem Continues
Erkuş reaffirmed that the Prophet's Lovers Foundation and its partners will continue to raise their voices until justice prevails.
"We will continue to defend the cause of Jerusalem with unwavering determination until the Zionist occupation is driven into the sea and erased from the pages of history."
The event concluded with collective prayers for the people of Gaza.
The demonstration in Adana serves as yet another reminder of the growing outrage across the Muslim world and beyond, as calls intensify for an end to the genocide in Gaza and justice for the Palestinian people. (ILKHA)
